So, we
finally entered the new Kpop year. I am sure many of you are wondering just
what the new Kpop year will bring.
The first
group is Got7, formed by JYP. This group is composed of 7 members. They recently were introduced
to the public by releasing two teasers and a music video for their song
"Girls, Girls, Girls". They already caught the attention of many Kpop
lovers with their bad boy looks and their cool skatecycles. Only thing to say
now, girls get ready because on January 20 their first mini album, "Got
It", is said to be released. Later we shall upload their member
profiles.
The next
group, 5live, was also formed by JYP. The
group consists of five male members, some who had possibly competed with Winner members on “WIN: WHO IS
NEXT.” Although they are not known, they have already
recorded "Beautifull Man's"
Ost, "Lovely Girl." They also
made an appearance in "Hidden Singer".
The next
group is rumored to be released on February of this year. This group is a girl
group called 1PS (one piece). 1PS stands for the members singing in harmony. There will be four
members in this group. The first member was revealed today, her name is Yena, and
there isn’t information about her. She
Appears
to be very sweet and innocent which makes us wonder what kind of group it will
be.
The next
group is Winner. This group already has their own reality show on Mnet called “WinnerTV”. It’s not their first time to be in the spotlight, they
have been seen in a reality show called “WIN: WHO IS NEXT.” Where they were able to display their talents and
get their group name, Winner. The group
is made of five very attractive members; Kang Seung
Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, Song Min Ho, Nam Tae Hyun, and Kim Jin Woo. There are plans that they will debut a
little later in the year. The Kpop world has big expectations for them. The
group is coming from YG entertainments.
As we all know their first group, Big Bang,
was no joke. But instead they are a big sensation throughout the world. I am
sure this new group won’t disappoint.
JYP has been very busy this year. They stated that there will
also be a six member girl group. There are also eyes on SM entertainment’s new
rumored group. They have already released pictures of trainees under the name
of SmRookies. Could these kids be future stars? Well I hope the new Kpop year
is just as interesting as the last one. We will keep you guys updated with new more
information about the groups and with information of other groups that I am
sure will come to light shortly.
